The description for that item on that page does not include your computer. Go to a site such as everymac.com or OWC's mac-sales.com and see what they recommend.

If your MacBook is following one, your RAM stick is DDR3 PC3-8500 1066MHz SO-DIMM.

You can upgrade till 8GB.
